


Large Scale Pottery Intermediate-Advanced, July 14th- September 1st, 6-9pm
In this 8 week course students will learn how throw larger pottery. The class will focus on skills and techniques to scale up your work. Techniques to be taught include coiling, throwing multiple parts and connecting forms. Throwing then finishing with coiling on the wheel. Forms to be thrown include: large pitchers, moon jars, storage jars, flower pots, lidded vessels, large bowls and platters. Other techniques included in the class consist of pulling handles, hand building hands. Surface techniques, such as sgraffito, slip, washes and glazing.

Tools-$22 for beginner tool kit
In Addition to class time students are also allowed to work during open studio time through out the week which is 30 hours a week. Your instructor will give you the time at you first class meeting.
