This Advanced wheel throwing class meets every Thursday for 8 weeks. Students will learn how to use advanced techniques and surface decorations to create a series of work. Techniques to be taught: multiple part construction using thrown forms, altered forms, faceting and torquing, pulling textured handles, dry throwing, slip applications, and glazing.
Wheel throwing experience is required

In Addition to class time students are also allowed to work during open studio time through out the week which is 30 hours a week. Your instructor will give you the time at you first class meeting.
