This course designed to master the volumetric and sculptural elegance of traditional Korean jars across various scales, and to comprehend the strict structural mechanics of throwing complete Korean tea sets from a single mound of clay. Students will explore advanced wheel-throwing precision along with signature Buncheong surface techniques, including Gwiyal (brushing), Deombeong (dipping), and Johwa (sgraffito/incising) methods.

In Addition to class time students are also allowed to work during open studio time through out the week which is 30 hours a week. Your instructor will give you the time at you first class meeting.
